HYHA Summer 3v3 League registration is open!

Want more hockey in the offseason?  Want to improve your hockey game in a fun and competitive way this summer? Come join the Harwood Youth Hockey Association for its annual 3v3 league! 


All are welcome and encouraged to try it out. Games are Wednesday nights in July (7/14, 7/21, 7/28) and Thursday nights in August and the first week of September (8/3, 8/17, 8/24, 8/31 and 9/7). *No ice on 8/10.

You can sign up for the entire eight week session or drop in for a single week. Either way you'll be sure to have fun, meet new friends and improve your hockey game. 

8U/Travel Mites (2014 & Younger)

10U/Squirts (2013/2012)

12U PeeWee (2010/2011)

14U/Bantam (2009/2008)

- All games are played at The Ice Center in Waterbury, VT

- 60 Minutes of ice time for each group: 5:15pm-6:15pm for Mites & Squirts/6:30pm-7:30pm for Peewees & Bantams

- $150 for 8 weeks, $20 for a single drop in week.

- Games are played cross ice with volunteer youth and adult referees. Volunteer bench coaches will be provided in addition to an official timekeeper.

- Players must be USA Hockey registered or sign a waiver.

- All players must complete the rink's wavier prior to playing.

HYHA Annual Meeting Recap

On April 11th the HYHA had its annual Board of Directors meeting at the Waterbury Fire House.  At that meeting, with the exception of three individuals whose terms were not expiring, a new board was nominated and elected. The results of the new Board of Directors elections for the 2022-2023 season are below:

As USA Hockey, VSAHA and Harwood Youth Hockey continue to adapt to the Coronavirus situation, the safety of participants and members always remains our top priority. Harwood Youth Hockey Association

Harwood Youth Hockey Association ("HYHA"), also known as Friends of Harwood Hockey, Inc., was formed in 1980 as a nonprofit organization for the purpose of teaching boys and girls from the towns of Waterbury, Duxbury, Moretown, Waitsfield, Warren, Fayston, Hancock and Granville, Vermont the game of hockey. HYHA has experienced a great amount of growth through the years.

Since 2003, The Ice Center of Washington West in Waterbury, Vermont has been the proud home of HYHA.
